I finally installed Ubuntu on my Sony Vaio and completely erased Windows XP.

I must say that for me Ubuntu is ready for prime time. The only problem I have is with iTunes/iPods. iTunes does not work on Linux, and syncronizing the iPod is not very easy with the available programs.

Reading about physics, biology, nanotechnology and AI is very refreshing. After 5 years spent concentrating on community building, blogs, IM and the WEB in general, I am taking my time to understand the big picture. So many things have changed in 5 years, and so many different fields are coming together. I feel there are opportunities ahead for those who understand the evolution of all these technologies.
